power usage. A conventional air conditioning system utilises gases to
operate. However, standard air conditioning systems lose large quantities

a combination of thermal energy from the sun and standard electric power

How Does It Work?
A hybrid air conditioning system absorbs solar energy and ambient air temperature
to heat the medium (Freon gas) by using a combination of solar collecting
and heat exchange.
- Freon from the compressor goes through the copper coil inside the collector
and undertakes a heat exchange.
- This exchange of heat with the medium inside the solar collector then goes
through a cycle inside the system for the cooling and heating of the building or house.
- The use of internal thread piping, hydrophilic aluminium fins and the optimal
heat exchange system reduce energy loss, improves the overall efficiency
and effectively ensure the performance of each unit.
The range of products utilises Japanese-manufactured Mitsubishi Electric
or Toshiba compressor types, specifically designed for use in our hybrid
system. Japanese-manufactured control gear is also used within the machinery itself.
The solar panel is manufactured in China with the individual components
assembled at our China-based factory. The factory operates under ISO 9001
standards and we employ our own QC team in addition to in-house checks
for each of our purchase orders in order to ensure quality work.
The Solar Hybrid air conditioner utilises the ambient air temperature as
an additional heat source to assist the air conditioning process of a
conventional air-conditioning system. As it does not require direct sunlight
in order to operate, it will even provide the assistance at night.
The Solar thermal panel substantially reduces the consumption of electricity
required to maintain the air conditioning process by a reduction in the
running time of the compressor and in how hard it has to work. This leads
to savings of between 35% and up to 65% on electricity costs when compared
to the operational costs of a standard air conditioning system in comparable
